Barbara Isdahl
Barbara Isdahl (Martens)
A lifelong artist, Barbara has explored a wide range of creative mediums since childhood, including oil painting, watercolor, pastels, woodcarving, stain glass, knitting and felting. Originally from Minnesota, she first came west while working summers just outside of Glacier National Park during college and soon made western Montana her home, drawn by its wild and open landscapes. Barbara and her family often enjoyed time in nature, hiking, canoeing, nordic skiing, camping, and exploring national and state parks. She finds joy in capturing the beauty and timelessness of the region’s mountains, rivers, wildlife, culture, and people through her art.
