Come embrace your mane-character energy in The Lion King KIDS! The timeless story and iconic music you know and love is coming to the Missoula Children’s Theatre stage in a bite-sized version, tailored for the success of 3rd through 8th graders. Simba, a lion cub destined to rule the Pride Lands, learns about his kingdom and what it takes to be a good king from his father, the brave Mufasa. After the evil interference of Simba’s conniving uncle Scar, Simba must embark on a coming-of-age journey that takes him away from the Pride Lands but leads him to a new friendship with the dynamic duo, Timon and Pumbaa. Will Simba embrace who he is and restore the “Circle of Life”? A wild ensemble of lions, mandrills, meerkats, warthogs, hyenas, and more bring the African Savannah to life and tell this incredible story of courage, growth, and love.
